The DF-MC12 Serial Fiber Media Converter translates signals from twist-pair 10/100/1000MBase-TX cable to 1000Base-FX fiber optic cable, extending data transmission distance from 100 meters via copper cables to 120 kilometers using fiber optic technology. This converter supports LFP (Link Fault Pass-through) functionality for enhanced network reliability.
